'Supercommittee' pushes deal to brink

Ira Jersey, director of US interest rate strategy research at Credit Suisse, tells the FT’s Michael Mackenzie that he expects to see significant market volatility when the so-called 'supercommittee' announces its plan to reduce the deficit by $1,200bn over the next decade.
