Qatar equities mature

David von Simson, chairman of the Qatar Investment Fund, says listed equities in Qatar offer good investment opportunities, particularly in the downstream hydcrocarbon industries and the financial services sector. Liquidity has improved, he says, and while geopolitical risk exists, the fund sees little to fear in the immediate future.
