China's rebound looks unsustainable

Oct 18, 2013 : China's growth rate rose back to 7.8 per cent in the third quarter, but according to Liu Li-Gang, ANZ's chief China economist, that growth still relies on investment more than consumption and the rebound is unlikely to continue. He tells the FT's Josh Noble that local government debt is a big potential problem but that he does expect reforms to come out of next month's political gathering in Beijing
