Amnesty law could reignite Thai conflict

A law that could annul charges against former prime minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, allowing him to return from self-imposed exile, has brought protesters out onto the streets of Bangkok and has potentially rekindled the conflict between pro-Thaksin 'red shirts' and pro-Democrat 'yellow shirts' that saw nine weeks of battles in the capital in 2010.
