Raising awareness about child cancer

Korle-Bu, the government-run teaching hospital in Ghana, has a specialist child cancer unit and employs the only two paediatric oncologists in the country. It has also outside help; since 2010, the ward has been supported by World Child Cancer, a UK-based charity chosen by the FT for the 2013 Seasonal Appeal. Xan Rice interviews Dr Lorna Renner.
