BNY Mellon sees global uncertainty

BNY Mellon chief executive Gerald Hassell has a bird's-eye view on the mood of investors and post-financial crisis regulation as the head of the world's largest custody bank. He tells the FT's US managing editor Martin Dickson that he is 'very bullish' on America, but global political and economic uncertainty means businesses are unwilling to invest.
