US Treasury yields baffle investors

This year’s unexpected decline in US Treasury yields has baffled plenty of investors. While searching for answers as to why demand remains so strong for Treasuries, at a time when the Federal Reserve is buying fewer government bonds, some are looking closely at China, which is the largest foreign holder of such debt.
