New twist in active/passive fund debate

Almost 90 per cent of UK active equity fund managers beat the market last year, according to S&P Dow Jones Indices. But this was in contrast to Europe, where more than 60 per cent of managers underperformed their benchmarks. FTfm's Chris Flood investigates why.
