Rose steps down at Rolls-Royce

Sir John Rose, the long-serving chief executive of Rolls-Royce, is to retire from the post at the end of March 2011, the aircraft engine maker announced on Thursday. He will be succeeded at the helm of the FTSE 100 group by John Rishton, a former British Airways chief financial officer. Carola Hoyos, defence correspondent, talks to Daniel Garrahan about Sir John's legacy and whether Mr Rishton has the clout to succeed him.
