A good year for trading houses

Increasing volatility in the market place - particularly of oil - should improve the profits of physical traders who last year suffered from overall stability, says Pierre Lorinet, chief financial officer at Trafigura, one of the world's largest commodity trading houses. He tells the FT's Javier Blas that 2011 has already provided some very favourable conditions for traders.
