Top Republican encouraged by budget talks

Paul Ryan, the Republican's top budget negotiator in the House of Representatives, spoke with the FT's James Politi just after the Senate voted to fund the US government for another two weeks to continue budget negotiations. Mr Ryan says he expects to tackle entitlement cuts this year and says he is worried about a municipal bond crisis.
