As Bahrain declares a state of emergency, from its capital Manama, Gulf correspondent Robin Wigglesworth analyses Iran's criticism of Saudi intervention against the Shia-based uprising in the small Gulf kingdom. He says the tense situation puts the US, which has its naval Fifth Fleet's headquarters in Bahrain, in an increasingly difficult position.
