Mobile is key to Skype deal

Microsoft has agreed to pay $8.5bn for the internet phone company Skype, marking its biggest acquisition to date. Robert Armstrong of the US Lex team tells Paul Taylor that the success of the deal depends on how fast Skype can grow, because the company’s current revenues do not support the valuation.
