Chinese police respond speedily to attacks

Deep-rooted tension in the restive Western Chinese region of Xinjiang has once again been brought to the surface in Hotan, a remote oasis town after an attack on a police station there on Monday left at least 20 people dead. Katherine Hille, Beijing correspondent, travels to Hotan and finds the government report of the attacks to be accurate and the riot police's response to be more speedy and professional than in the past.
