Festive atmosphere at Wukan election

Feb 2 2012  After residents rioted in December, the Southern Chinese village enjoyed its first free election in decades as over 6000 voters showed up to choose an election committee. The makeshift booths and ballot boxes did not dampen the festive atmosphere, says the FT's Rahul Jacob  (2m 7sec)
