Clearing Emir

Europe has just passed the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (Emir), new legislation that will force OTC derivatives through clearing houses. Leonard Ng, partner at law firm Sidley Austin, talks to FT Trading Room editor Jeremy Grant about 'third country provisions' in Emir and Dodd-Frank that are worrying market participants.
