MercadoLibre expects 100m users by 2014

Jun 10 2012  Marcos Galperin, chief executive of MercadoLibre, the Argentina-based online trading platform, believes he can increase the number of users by five times to 100m within a year. He talks to the FT’s Hugo Greenhalgh at the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year awards about how the site is tailored for the Latin America market and what makes MercadoLibre different to eBay.  (2m 38sec)
