Pope celebrates inaugural mass

Mar 19 2013  Crowds of up to 20,000 saw the pope celebrate his inaugural mass in St Peter's Square, Rome. World leaders such as Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, president of the pope's native Argentina, as well as German chancellor Angela Merkel and US Vice-President Joe Biden were present as Francis received the ring symbolising his papacy.  (1m 42sec)
