Stormy waters for Transocean

Challenges do not come much bigger than those faced by Transocean chief executive Steven Newman. Taking over just a few weeks before the Deepwater Horizon oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico involved one of its rigs, the company now faces a challenge to its financial strategy from activist investor Carl Icahn.
