Murdoch unlikely to back off

Time Warner chief executive Jeff Bewkes said his board determined the $80bn unsolicited offer from 21st Century Fox was not in the company's interest and it would not pursue further discussions, but Rupert Murdoch's history does not lend itself to giving up the chase.
