Yingluck impeached by Thai parliament

Ousted Thailand prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra was impeached by the military junta-appointed parliament on Friday after the attorney-general announced earlier in the day that she would face a criminal charge over the rice subsidy scheme that is estimated to have cost the country billions of dollars.
