Tea Party energises Delaware Democrats

In an election year predicted to be a disaster for Democrats, Delaware looks like the exception. Democratic candidates for the Senate and the House have double-digit leads in polls over their Republican rivals. Some attribute the strong performance to Tea Party-backed candidates defeating more moderate Republicans in the primaries.
